Kurt Swinghammer is known as both a musician/composer and a visual artist. He's a longtime electronic musician but is also an ace on guitar and a veteran live-looper and those latter skills are featured in this track. If you visit his Bandcamp, you'll discover his singer/songwriter talents as well. For Kurt's instrumental works there, try exploring "Remote", the later tracks on "Another Another" & his soundtrack for "Ginger Snaps 2".

The cover is an embroidery by Lynn Harrigan inspired by of one of Kurt's paintings "Northern Ark" which also gave us the song title. Kurt is a multi-discipline artist and has deepened his exploration of "Canadiana" themes in recent works - which we encourage you to view at his Instagram link below.
